National Simultaneous Story-time, 2011

National Simultaneous Storytime

2011 is the 11th year of National Simultaneous Storytime, organised by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). The aim of the National Simultaneous Storytime is to ‘contribute toward a more literate society and promote the value of reading and literacy.’

There will be over a thousand Australian organisations participating in the 2011 National Simultaneous Storytime, from kindergartens to bookstores. This year each of these organisations will simultaneously read Feathers for Phoebe by Rod Clement (HarperCollins)  at 11 o’clock on Wednesday 25 May.

My Little Bookcase is extremely proud to be running an event for National Simultaneous Storytime which will take place at Cubbyhouse Canteen, Armadale.  This will be a small event limited to 20 children and their parents. Read about booking details here.

If you miss out on a place at My Little Bookcase’s event there are many more venues for you to attend.
