Book Lover’s Giveaway: Personalised print from My Sweet Prints (Closed)

This post is now closed. Congratulations to the winners: Rebecca H, Jane G, Kym T, Tegan H and Alison R

My Little Bookcase began its facebook page in August 2010, and it was with much excitement that we had reached 1000 likers on Friday 8 July.

To celebrate, we contacted the delightful Janette from My Sweet Prints and commissioned a print specifically for My Little Bookcase readers. We were hoping for a print that spoke of our philosophy for creating a love of reading, a print that was personal, a print that encouraged a special space in the home for a child to enjoy and delight in books.

Janette has designed three simple but beautiful prints that accurately fulfilled the brief: a boy, a girl and a family print. You can read more about her here.

About the Prints:

  • Prints can be personalised with your child’s name
  • The colour choice for each print includes pink, blue or green
  • The print includes the beautiful quote by Emilie Buchwald, “Children are made readers on the laps of their parents”
  • The print measures 8×10 inches and is valued at $25.00

Book Lover’s Giveaway: Personalised print from My Sweet Prints (Closed)

  1. I would love to put the ‘Our Reading Corner’ print in our home. We have a little reading nook with pillows and a mix of books and magazines that both my children love to spend time in. This stylish print would compliment the area and I love how it has a boy and girl on it reading – just like my daughter and son. A print like this should definately be on display to encourage every one (both old and young) to read! Congratulations to My Little Bookcase for reaching 1000 likers too.

  2. I would love to be able to give one of these beautiful reading corner prints to my grandson – Jack. Even at 11 months he consatntly crawls into his room and attacks his books. He is at his happiest when reading his Farmer Jack book.

  3. Congratulations My Little Bookcase on reaching 1000 liners. That’s 1000 families who are reaping the benefits of your amazing page. I would love the print of the little girl for my daughter’s bookcase. When I read the quote that’s on the picture, I smiled inside and out. Such a perfect sentiment.

  4. i would LOVE any of these prints. We love books in our household. It would be great for my two little girls to be always able to look at the print and see another child (or children) reading a book too. And well with my two it would give them a little more ownership to their little reading corner (with the books piled around them)

Our 18 month old boy has amazed us with his language skills, which we largely attribute to so much time we spend reading together. A special print would help us make a special little space for him to have as his world gets bigger and bigger.

  41. I would love one of these special prints to help encourage and sustain my childrens love of reading. I love books and cant imagine life without them I hope my children will be the same.

  42. I would love one of the family prints because all our books are in the lounge room and it would really help define the reading corner from the other areas.

  43. Wonderful print for a wonderful activity. Our Son (3) is a book lover so far and I so hope that he will have this love all his life. I thank my grandmother and parents for taking the time to read to me so that I have had the joy of stories all my life.
So happy I have found this site (thanks to Facebook) almost makes me want to have another little one to share the joy of reading with!
