My Little Bookcase began its facebook page in August 2010, and it was with much excitement that we had reached 1000 likers on Friday 8 July.
To celebrate, we contacted the delightful Janette from My Sweet Prints and commissioned a print specifically for My Little Bookcase readers. We were hoping for a print that spoke of our philosophy for creating a love of reading, a print that was personal, a print that encouraged a special space in the home for a child to enjoy and delight in books.
Janette has designed three simple but beautiful prints that accurately fulfilled the brief: a boy, a girl and a family print. You can read more about her here.
About the Prints:
- Prints can be personalised with your child’s name
- The colour choice for each print includes pink, blue or green
- The print includes the beautiful quote by Emilie Buchwald, “Children are made readers on the laps of their parents”

2. (Optional) If you would like an extra entry into the draw, tag My Little Bookcase (@My Little Bookcase) and My Sweet Pr!nts (@MySweetPr!nts) in a facebook post telling your friends which print you would like to win and why. You will need to let us know that you’ve done this.
The winners:
- 5 winners will be randomly selected
- The winners will be randomly selected with the assistance of www.random.org.au
- Each of the 5 winners will win a personalised ‘Reading Corner’ print in the design (boy, girl or family) and colour (pink, blue or green) of their choice.
Terms and conditions:

2. Entrants must live in Australia. The prize will only be awarded to entrants living in Australia.
